(CNN). --Apple said it's going to make your iCloud data safer, with the new feature they call "Advance Data Protection", which Apple says will get users keep some items such as backups, pictures and chat history safer from hackers.
These actions will however, make it impossible for law enforcement to access that material due to end-to-end encryption making data impossible to collect, except for the sender and the recipient.
While privacy groups have called on Apple to boost their encryption on iCloud backups, the FBI says it's concerned about the potential threats the end-to-end encryption could bring.
