Photographer captures time lapse of Northern Lights in Michigan

DENTON, Mich. (CNN) -- When Jeff Baurs saw a Facebook post about the Northern Lights being visible in Michigan, he decided to set up his camera.

Baurs said he didn't even check to see if the lights were visible to the naked eye. He just set up his camera around 9:30 p.m. and went back to work.

The photos were taken over approximately an hour.
