Relay For Life Kicks into Gear
EDWARDSBURG, Mich.-- Thousands flocked to Michigan to fight cancer today!
The "Relay for Life" kicked off this morning right outside the middle school in Edwardsburg.
Many cancer survivors were on hand to celebrate beating the disease!
Quite a few people spent their day just walking around the track remembering those who didn't win.
Organizers just love the community support they get in this small town.
"We really encourage everyone from the surrounding areas, you know Granger, Elkhart, to come enjoy this event just because of the small-town feel. It really brings the community together," said Jodie Rozycki.
Now organizers still need your help, their goal is sixty thousand dollars and they have only raised 36-thousand so far.
