SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg announced Wednesday morning he launched an exploratory committee for the 2020 presidential race.
He made the announcement in a video posted to a new Facebook page and new website, Pete for America.
The Associated Press reports Buttigieg is expected to travel to Iowa next week to meet with voters in the nation's first caucus state, followed by stops in New Hampshire.
