South Bend Medical Foundation sponsors blood drive
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Several people rolled up their sleeves to help Notre Dame's "Relay for Life" team.
For everyone who donated blood, a $5 donation was given in their name.
The South Bend Medical Foundation sponsored Wednesday's blood drive at Eddy Street Commons.
Workers said they are always looking for donors.
"We are always taking donations at any of our fixed sites, including Madison and Lafayette both in downtown South Bend," said Lionel Johnson, phlebotomist.
There is another blood drive Thursday hosted by the Red Cross. It is at the Lowe's on Grape Road in Mishawaka from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
