Teen sentenced to 15 years for attacking MSP Trooper
CASSOPOLIS, Mich. -- The man accused of attacking a Michigan State Trooper will be behind bars for at least 15 years.
Travis Wise, a 19 year old, was sentenced to at least 15 years and up to 50 years in federal prison.
At the teens sentencing today, an attorney for the prosecution stated that Wise would like do it again, because he was backing up his half brother Michael Barber, who was found guilty of initiating that attack.
The defendant advised that he would most like not do anything differently, which is shocking due to his willingness to defend family even if it means taking another persons life.
The attack the two half brothers initiated all started when that Trooper pulled Barber over for speeding on his motorcycle.
The location of which Wise will serve his sentence is unknown at the time, but stay with ABC 57 on air and online for updates regarding this story.
