Two Michigan residents who had met online were found dead in a car in Lake Erie

MONROE, Mich. – Two Michigan residents who had been missing one week after meeting online, have been found dead in a car in Lake Erie.

The victims are identified as 50 year old Jill Parrinello-Davey of Manchester and 48 year old Darrin Gabbard of Allen Park. The Chevy Malibu car they had been driving was found by divers Friday.

The two had met one week ago and according to investigators with the Monroe County Sheriff’s department, they believe the driver mistakenly drove the car into the lake near Toledo Beach Marina.

The couple had met online and were meeting for the first time, according to detectives.
