Valparaiso man arrested for alleged stalking, marijuana possession
WARSAW, Ind. -- Authorities arrested one man after a woman reported him of stalking her.
According to officials the young woman was driving eastbound on U.S. 30 in Valparaiso when she noticed a green vehicle driving behind her.
The woman stated that the driver of the vehicle had adjusted in traffic at least three times in order to stay close behind her vehicle, even cutting off traffic to do so.
After taking multiple precautions to shake the man pursuing her, the woman rove to Wasrsaw Police Department where he then pulled next to her car; she quickly left before calling WPD, who then instructed her to return.
Upon pulling into WPD's parking lot, officials observed seemingly suspicious activity before securing the woman and bringing her into the facility.
WPD officers approached the man who was later identified as Rodney W. Falls, a 54-year-old man from Valparaiso.
Falls was arrested and booked in Kosciusko County Jail where he faces charges of Stalking, a level 6 felony, and misdemeanor marijuana possession.
The Warsaw Police Department say that this is an ongoing investigation and has broadened the incident to include additional jurisdicitons.
