Fog exits, but storms could enter Friday evening
Skies are dry to start this morning but won't be staying that way with rain and thunderstorms still in the forecast today. Rain holds off until around 10AM with our greatest storm threat between 11AM-1PM. Storms initiate over Michiana, mainly east of US-31, developing further off to our east which is where we'll see the greatest severe risk. For the most part, storms don't become severe until they have already moved out of our region, but we could still see an isolated severe threat with the chance for heavy rain, hail, and strong winds within thunderstorms - the chance for an isolated tornado is low but still can't be completely ruled out. Rain/storm chances wrap up this afternoon, but winds stay breezy all day long. Highs are warm again today topping out in the lower 70s. The forecast stays dry tonight and tomorrow, but more rain returns Thursday night, ending Friday morning. We're quieter and cooler to end the week with 50s taking over this weekend.
Today: Midday scattered thunderstorms. Breezy. High 72.
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low 50.
Thursday: Mostly cloudy, rain at night. High 66.
Friday: Mostly sunny. High 57.
