ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast
Sunday, May 5, 2024
The weekend concludes quietly tonight with lows in the upper 40s and partly cloudy skies above. Partial cloudiness continues into Monday for likely the only dry day of the work week as highs climb into the low 70s. Skies become progressively cloudier going into Monday night as a center of low pressure approaches from the northwest. Our risk for severe weather arrives during the day on Tuesday, but at this point the timing is still being determined. The main concerns look to be thunderstorms with damaging winds and heavy rain, but no impact is off the table. Regardless of when/if severe weather develops, plan on widespread and soaking rain both Tuesday and Wednesday with highs in the mid to upper 70s. Another severe threat is present Wednesday, but at this time timing AND impacts are both uncertain. Expect the worst of the weather to be over by Wednesday night, changing to low-impact rain showers Thursday and Friday.
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low 48.
Monday: Partly cloudy. High 73.
Tuesday: Scattered thunderstorms. High 76.
Wednesday: PM thunderstorms. High 78.
