84-year-old woman robbed in her bedroom

ELKHART, Ind. - Elkhart Police are investigating a robbery of an 84-year-old woman that happened while she was still in bed.

The victim told police she was in bed Friday, June 2nd around 8 a.m. when she heard a noise at the front door.

Moments later she said there was a man standing in her bedroom.

He demanded money from the victim.

After a short struggle, the suspect took the victim's purse and fled her home.

A second suspect was also in her home.

Police said the suspects were described as black males.

The incident happened in the 1000 block of W. Indiana Avenue.
