A messy mix of wintry weather Thursday morning. Temperatures will be critical for both the air and ground as to what precipitation falls and if roads are wet or icy. Snow is expected first, changing to a wintry mix as temperatures rise between 6 a.m. and noon. Precipitation winds down by the afternoon and temperatures rise above freezing. Friday looks milder with highs in the 40s.
