Happy St. Patrick’s Day! It’s a messy start to the holiday as snow, wintry mix, and freezing rain are already falling along and south of the Toll Road this morning. Pulaski and Fulton counties are still under a Winter Weather Advisory until 9 AM EDT for the AM wintry mix. Mix will likely change over to snow during the mid-morning before fading away in the afternoon. Ice accumulations of 0.2” and snow accumulations of 1” are still possible, mainly along and south of Hwy 30 this morning before melting in the afternoon. The sun should even pop back out by the end of the day for most.
The second half of the weekend is much better as the sunshine dominates and temps warm into the low 50s, but colder air is on the way for the middle of the work week as our system to our south brings slight chances of a wintry mix.
Saturday: AM snow/mix/ice, PM clearing, high of 46.
Tonight: Mostly clear. Low of 26.
Sunday: Sunny. High of 50.
Monday: Partly sunny and breezy. Highs in the upper 40s.
