SOUTH BEND, Ind. – A vigil was held Thursday evening in honor of Chrisyah Stephens, the seven-year-old girl killed in a drive-by shooting almost one month ago.
Stephens lost her life during a birthday party near the corner of High and Donald Street.
Over three dozen community members’ gathered at the scene this afternoon to demand justice and plead for the person responsible to come forward.
“I don’t see how they can’t find it in their hearts to do what’s right, and then the people that know about it, like how can you guys sleep? You need to speak, you need to tell us something,” said Chanda Taylor, family.
If you have any information about this case, or a possible suspect involved call Crime Stoppers at 574-288-STOP.
