Ambulance service stops operations in Cass County, local agencies to step in

CASS COUNTY, Mich. - Pride Care Ambulance Service, which operates emergency and non-emergency ambulances in Cass County, has permanently stopped servicing the county, effective Friday.

According to the Cass County Medical Control Authority, 911 services will be covered by local EMS agencies for the time being.

The Cass County Dispatch Center and EMS agencies have been preparing for the transition.

All emergency requests should continue to be made by calling 911.
