A warm, sunny weekend ahead
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Pinhook Park was the site of an annual remembrance program Sunday evening at the Angel of Hope Memorial Garden.
More than 100 people gathered despite wet and windy conditions to speak the name of a loved one they've lost and light a candle in their honor.
The program has existed since the garden was founded in 2001.
Although there are multiple remembrance events throughout the year, the founders of the park encourage people to come to the garden anytime of the year to reflect.
The group read poems together, sang songs and at the end of the ceremony, blew out their candles in honor of their loved ones.
