Four Winds Invitational week is in full swing.
For fans and players alike, the week tees off on the 1st hole Thursday and ends Sunday night on the 18th green.
For Assistant Tournament Director Lynn Kennedy, however, the journey to this day began after last year’s event wrapped up!
Call her the oil that makes the engine run.
Besides handling all the behind the scenes hustle and bustle at blackthorn, Kennedy is Owner Tim Firestone's right hand person.
Always running with a smile!
To make everything run smoothly, Kennedy cares little about lack of sleep!
“I go to sleep at one o’clock in the morning checking email and get up at 6 o’clock in the morning making sure sponsors get all the information they need,” says Kennedy.
Whether its handling sponsor emails or vendors, there is a light at the end of the tunnel when the tournament tees off Friday.
“Excitement. Chaos. Just a flood of emotions. I want it to be perfect. I want it to go off without a hitch. Want everyone to have a good time. And want it to be a fun a memorable experience,” says Kennedy.
Kennedy joined on last march and is currently in her first full year with Blackthorn.
