ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast
Saturday, February 24, 2024
With snow continuing to melt, our lows fall into the mid 20s tonight with mostly clear skies overhead. Warmer air begins to move in overnight into early Sunday, helping our highs jump into the low 50s for the day. Mostly sunny skies transition to partly cloudy Sunday night likely due to daytime heating. We'll dip close to freezing yet again early Monday morning, but the influx of warm air continues into Monday and Tuesday that will bring us close to the daily record high for the second day of the week.
With the warmer air, however, comes the increased likelihood of thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon and evening. The threat of strong to severe storms is present, but still uncertain at this time. Storms in the back half of Tuesday transition to brief rain and snow showers early Wednesday, cooling daily highs back down into the mid 40s on hump day.
Tonight: Mostly clear. Low 25.
Sunday: Mostly sunny. High 53.
Monday: Mostly sunny. High 61.
Tuesday: PM Thunderstorms. High 68.
