Mishawaka HS hosts college signing day for student athletes!
MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- Fire officials and police teamed up to save a man from a submerged car in Mishawaka Thursday night.
According to officials, a man swerved into a pond off Douglas Road and was submerged for roughly three minutes before a police officer and firefighter were able to break the window out to rescue him.
Authorities believe at this time that a medical condition may have been to blame for this accident, but can't be sure until an investigation is complete.
The victim is reportedly being rewarmed at a local medical facility, as officials say his body temperature when pulled out of the water was 89 degrees.
