SOUTH BEND, Ind.-An attorney for Abtrex, a manufacturing company in South Bend, says cleanup will be underway as soon as possible after an explosion Thursday morning.
Thousands of pieces of cement and metal remain in the grass and in the parking lot of the building.
The explosion was caused by equipment failure inside of the building that shot through a brick wall.
Nobody was injured.
The attorney also says cranes may have to be used to remove some of the large pieces.
The safety equipment successfully went off during the explosion, preventing further damage.
