National College Decision Day is pushed back this year
COLOMA, Mich. -- Hundreds gathered on Paw Paw street Saturday evening to watch the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade, which this year included a unique light show.
Starlight Aerial Productions worked with the city of Coloma to produce a St. Patrick’s Day drone show, which hovered over high above the downtown area.
The 100-drone spectacle showcased leprechauns, shamrocks, an Irish flag heart and much more, all in a brilliant green, gold and orange.
The owner of Starlight Productions, Matt Quinn, is a Coloma native who decided to put on the show for free as a way of giving back to the community.
Each drone works in tandem with pre-programmed sequences that led to Saturday night’s show.
With the success of this show, as well as one held at the Coloma Glad Peach Festival in 2023, the city hopes to continue bringing drone entertainment to residents.
