Convicted teen in Grace Ross molestation, murder case files appeal

SOUTH BEND, Ind.- Anthony Hutchens and his legal team filed an appeal Thursday, according to court documents.

Following a guilty verdict in January 2023, Hutchens received a 64-year sentence to be served consecutively for the molestation and murder of Grace Ross in 2021.

Hutchens was 14 years old when he committed the crimes.  

At 16 years old, Hutchens was tried as an adult.
