Sunny skies and warmer highs: quiet weather ahead
Cooler air continues to move into the region today with breezy conditions. It’ll feel and look more like Fall as highs top out in the upper 60s and skies remain mostly to partly cloudy. There is a chance for isolated showers but nothing heavy is expected. As colder air continues to move over our warm Lake Michigan, it’ll develop lake effect rain showers for Wednesday and Thursday. This will also give us the chance for waterspouts out on the lake. Both days will remain cool with highs only topping out in the mid 60s.
Today: Partly to mostly cloudy, isolated shower possible, high of 68.
Tonight: Partly to mostly cloudy, low 48.
Wednesday: Mostly cloudy with showers likely, high of 64.
Thursday: Partly cloudy, a chance of showers, highs in the mid-60s.
