Crews respond to car fire inside Memorial Hospital parking garage

South Bend Fire Department SOUTH BEND, Ind. - Crews responded to a car fire inside one of Memorial Hospital's parking garages in downtown South Bend Wednesday morning.
A call came in reporting the incident at 100 Navarre Place around 7:30 a.m. The fire was located on the second floor and contained to one vehicle.
No one was injured and nothing in the hospital or surrounding offices were impacted. The second floor was closed to the public from 9 to 10:30 a.m. during the cleanup.
Traffic was also blocked at the Michigan Street roundabouts during the incident.
Firefighters are still investigating the cause of the fire.
