Dump truck rolls over, spills gravel across CR50

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- A dump truck rolled over on CR50 and spilled its load of gravel across the road Tuesday afternoon, according to the Elkhart County Sheriff's Department.
The crash happened near the intersection of CR50 and SR 19.
Deputies say the driver looked down for a second and started to swerve off the road. The driver overcorrected and caused the truck to flip.
The driver was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
The road is expected to reopen around 4:30 p.m.
