Dry and Mild for South Bend Cubs Opening Day
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The East Race River opened its door for the summer season this afternoon. The waterway provides the opportunity for community members to whitewater raft or kayak down the rivers every Saturday and Sunday from noon to 5 pm.
Among those enjoying the opening day festivities were students from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish as they got to take a bit of a break after serving the community.
