Elkhart County Coroner identifies men found dead in Franklin Street home

UPDATE: The Elkhart County Coroner identified the woman found in the home as 74-year-old Elizabeth Howell. She died in the hospital of natural causes, according to the coroner. All three victims were related. 

ORIGINAL STORY:

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. - The Elkhart County Coroner identified the two men found dead in a home on Franklin Street Monday morning as 74-year-old Garry Dewayne Howell Sr. and 50-year-old Garry D. Howell.

Autopsy results were inconclusive. The coroner’s office is waiting for toxicology labs.

The two men were found dead during a welfare check in a home in the 1600 block of W. Franklin St.

A third person, a woman, was found unconscious in the home.
