Elkhart gas station robbed early morning Saturday

ELKHART, Ind. -- The Franklin Gas Plus at 1403 W. Franklin St. was robbed Saturday morning, the Elkhart Police Department says. 

At around 2:50 a.m., an officer was dispatched to the gas station for a reported burglary. 

The person who made the call told police that four unknown suspects shattered the glass of the main entrance and once inside, they stole two cash registers, and several vapes.

"Suspects possibly fled in a white passenger car before police arrival. This case remains under investigation," police said.
