Elkhart Police investigating attempted robbery on Roy Avenue

ELKHART, Ind. -- Elkhart Police are investigating an attempted robbery that happened to a man who was walking in the 2300 block of Roy Avenue Friday around 8:30 a.m.
The victim told police he was walking in the area when a man approached on a bicycle and demanded his wallet.
When the victim refused to hand over his wallet, the suspect pulled out a handgun and again demanded his wallet, reports said.
The victim again refused and the suspect rode away.
The suspect was described as a black male 20 to 25 years old, 6”0” tall weighting 130 to 150 pounds wearing all black.
