UPDATE: One person was seriously injured in the crash while another was minorly injured. The crash happened when one vehicle tried to turn left from Currant onto Day. The preliminary investigation shows speed could've been a factor.
ORIGINAL STORY:
ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. - St. Joseph County Fatal Crash Team is investigating a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Day and Currant Roads Thursday afternoon.
According to dispatch, Day was closed to traffic between Capital Avenue and Bittersweet Road.
Emergency crews were called out to the area just before 2 p.m. for the incident.
No injuries have been reported at this time.
