Goodwill announces free tax prep for local low-income households

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Goodwill announced on Wednesday the availability of free tax preparation services via its Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.

The program is designed to assist U.S. citizens and resident aliens in the South Bend and Elkhart area, who make less than $64,000 annually, maximize their tax returns and credits.
