Goshen Police: Business burglary suspect caught in the act

GOSHEN, Ind. -- During a special detail to address ongoing business burglaries, Goshen Police arrested a man allegedly in the process of burglarizing Forest River on College Avenue.

On Saturday, officers in the pro-active detail were conducting surveillance and investigating a series of thefts from factories and areas where RVs were being stored, reports said.

During the detail, officers say they observed 57-year-old Vence Alley burglarizing Forest River. He was taken into custody on a preliminary charge of burglary.

Police said they have been working diligently with area business owners to address the increase of crimes against local businesses.
