SOUTH BEND, Ind -- A Northern Lakes Conference showdown between the Northridge Raiders and Mishawaka Cavemen baseball teams ended after going into extra innings at Four Winds Field.
The two high school teams brought pro-level intensity to Monday's matchup.
The Cavemen looked to redeem themselves from a 3-2 loss to the Raiders in April, while Northridge aimed for regular season sweep.
Tommy Harringer was the starting pitcher for the Cavemen.
Qade Carrington on the bump for the Raiders.
Both adding to their season strikeout total and keeping their teams in the game, which was tied 5-5 at the end of regulation.
The conference matchup ended with the Cavemen walking away with a 7-6 win in extra innings.
"We finally won a one run game. The kids kept battling against a great team at Northridge," said Mishawaka head coach John Huemmer.
