Hit and run leaves pedestrian injured in Cass County

CASS COUNTY, Mich. - The Cass County Sheriff's Office reports that they responded to a pedestrian hit and run accident on US 12 near Bell Road in Milton Township Thursday.

Authorities say at approximately 4:25 a.m., Thursday, deputies were notified that a person had been struck by a vehicle and the vehicle had left the scene.

Deputies are in the early stages of the investigation, but they have identified the pedestrian who was transported to the hospital where he is currently being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
