House fire in Benton Township

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. --The Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety responded automatic aid to Benton Township, for a house fire, around 5:15 a.m.
Due to a lack of fire hydrants in the area, Engine 54 and Squad 51 were both used to shuttle water, while crews operated handlines for the fire.
Seven Benton Harbor Health Department of Public Safety members responded to this fire in total.
There are no injuries.
