House fire on North Elmer Street in South Bend, no injuries reported

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - At least 12 firetrucks were on scene after call came in just after 8:30 p.m. Friday of a fire at 713 N. Elmer St.

Officials say the house was engulfed in flames upon arrival.

Firefighters were still there after 9 p.m. when it was mostly under control. Fire officials were still looking for hot spots at that time.

There was no one in the house when fire fighters arrived, and no one was taken to the hospital.
