Notre Dame football has placed its goals this season not only on winning games, but by dominating their opposition. That was the case at points during Saturday's 48-37 victory over Wake Forest, but the team still felt it left something on the table.
After taking a commanding lead in the second half, Wake Forest scored a couple late touchdowns to make the score closer than the Irish had otherwise hoped.

Notre Dame has now won seven straight games to improve to 8-1 on the season, doubling the win total from 2016. The team will now try to extend that winning streak next week on the road, in a Top 10 matchup, against the Miami Hurricanes.
