Jury deliberating Bradbury's fate

Early Thursday afternoon, jurors began deliberating the fate of Tyre Bradbury.

Bradbury 17, is accused of aiding in the murder of two-year-old John Swoveland, Jr. In the spring of 2014, the toddler was killed by a stray bullet that hit him while he played outside of his aunt’s South Bend home.

Bradbury is also facing a count of gang enhancement.

The prosecutor believes the April 9, 2014 shooting was rooted in gang activity.

This trial has moved quickly. Jury selection began Monday.

A verdict is expected in this case by the end of the day.
