'Kitten Shower' hosted by La Porte County Animal Control
La Porte County Animal Shelter and The Jane Bernard Animal Adoption Center LA PORTE, Ind. - The La Porte County Animal Shelter and The Jane Bernard Animal Adoption Center are hosting a "Kitten Shower" to raise funds for kittens in need, inform the public about fostering animals, and have residents interact with the kittens.
Organizers are expecting a lot of kittens this year and are asking people to donate kitten supplies.
The event is Tuesday, April 9, from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at 2855 West State Road 2 in La Porte.
Included in the kitten wish list are the following items:
- Kitten milk replacer (KMR) powder
- Miracle nipples (mini)
- Kitten nursing bottles
- Snuggle safe heating disc
- Digital kitchen scales
- Unscented baby wipes
- Canned kitten food (Fancy Feast)
- Lil soups wet food
- Meat flavored baby food
- Soft receiving blankets
- Heartbeat replacement toy
- Monetary donations
