SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Salvation Army Kroc Center held it's annual Suits for Vets event Thursday and will continue to Friday.
Organizers say the donations from the community makes it possible to offer thousands of free business suits to veterans which makes it easier for them to find work.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at these locations:
Salvation Army Kroc Center
900 W Western Ave, South Bend, IN 46601
Concord Mall
3701 S Main St, Elkhart, IN 46517
"It's just a great day to thank our veterans, and help them out maybe, some might be looking for work or some just have to dress up every day and its a nice way to pick up a nice suit for free, so, just thanking our veterans today” Senior KROC Officer Monty Wandling said.
