SOUTH BEND, Ind -- Notre Dame Women's Basketball forward Maddy Westbeld announced Monday that she would be staying with the Irish.

Westbeld finished the 2023-24 season averaging 14.4 points and 8.7 rebounds per game.

On April 4, Westbeld was awarded Women's Basketball Coaches Association All-American honors alongside teammate Hannah Hidalgo. She was also named to the All-ACC second team at the end of the season.

Westbeld has been a leader on and off the floor for the Irish, and is a huge victory for Notre Dame to keep their "Big Three" intact, while adding Olivia Miles back into the mix.

Notre Dame finished the 2023-24 season 28-7, and ACC tournament champions.
