MISHAWKA, Ind. -- Central Park celebrates America's 250 with music by Indiana Native.
Tege Holt, lead singer for Tege Holt and the Lonesome Pines, was the headline on the night.
"America is such a great country, and being able to play for towns all over, I mean, we're playing every single weekend all over the US, and really all over the greater Midwest, so it's just amazing."
The free event was organized by the Mishawaka Parks & Recreation Department.
Food trucks and market vendors filled the park grounds, with a Chicory Cafe biergarten drawing crowds through the evening.
A fireworks display over the St. Joseph River closed out the night.
"I just hope people have fun, get away from all the stress in their life, and just come out here, listen to some live music. Greatest thing you can do is support live music," said Holt.
