Notre Dame beats Tennessee State 56-3 in historic home opener

SOUTH BEND, Ind., --- Notre Dame takes down Tennessee State 56-3 in their first home game of the season.
The match-up against the Tennessee State Tigers marked the first time Fighting Irish Football played a Historically Black college and University or HBCU.
Notre Dame is now 2-0 on the season.
They are set to hit the road to play North Carolina State in Raleigh on Saturday September 9 at 12:00 pm.
