Notre Dame's Mendoza building evacuated Tuesday morning

NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- According to university officials, smoke alarms in the Mendoza College of Business were activated by smoke from a malfunctioning component in the electrical room Tuesday morning.
There was no flame and no injuries. The building was briefly evacuated out of an abundance of caution and has since been reopened.
