One injured in Sunday morning Goshen gunfire

ABC 57

GOSHEN, Ind. -- The Goshen Police Department dispatched officers to the 2000 block of Peddlers Village Road at 3:05 a.m. on Sunday morning due to reports of gunfire in the parking lot.

Officers say that while they were on their way, they learned a 21-year-old male victim was transported to a local hospital with several gunshot wounds.

When they got to the scene, officers found evidence of gunfire. Officers say they tried to get information from the victim and people that took him to the hospital, but they all refused to cooperate.

"The victim was later transported to a different hospital due to non-life-threatening injuries that required surgery," GPD said. "A building was also damaged by gunfire."

The Goshen Police Department continue to investigate this incident.
