One man injured in Cass County snowmobile crash

CASS COUNTY, Mich. - The Cass County Sheriffs Department responded to a snowmobile crash in Pokagon Township on Monday night.

The crash occurred near the intersection of Indian Lake and Frost Street around 7:45 p.m. EST.

Deputies say the driver was traveling southbound on the trails near the area before losing control of the snowmobile, causing it to roll over onto him.

He was transported to South Bend Memorial Hospital for his injuries.

Officials say neither drugs nor alcohol were a factor in the crash.
