Over 150 local middle school artists' work showing at Colfax Gallery

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – At the Colfax Campus Gallery, a reception will be held for local intermediate school students' artwork on Friday, March 22.

The student's artwork is currently on display, but the reception will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday.

At the non-competitive exhibition, the local students will be recognized for their artistic talent.

2024 marks the 35th Annual Intermediate School Exhibit Reception.

There are over 150 students' artwork on display, and five of the intermediate schools are from the South Bend Community School Corporation. Students range from grades 6 to 8.

Organizers encourage students to attend with their families and friends. The public is also invited to attend and support local schools and young artists.

Organizers say the exhibition "reflects the remarkable talent to be found in our public schools and honors these young artists."

There will be refreshments and light snacks.

The Colfax Campus Gallery/South Bend Heritage Foundation is at 914 Lincolnway West in South Bend.

The Intermediate School Exhibit will be on display until April 19.
