SOUTH BEND, Ind. - An abandoned home on the 1300 block of Brookfield Street in South Bend was destroyed in a fire Thursday morning.
Crews were called to it around 5 a.m. and arrived to find the home fully engulfed.
Nobody was injured, but firefighters had to fight the fire cautiously due to holes in the floor of the house.
The chief on scene said there had been another fire at this house a couple of months ago.
As of Thursday morning, a cause of the latest fire had not yet been determined.
