Threat of drought, even with rainy spring in Michiana
ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast
Saturday, April 6, 2024
After a beautiful day Saturday, clouds will increase tonight as temperatures fall through the 50s and 40s this evening. Lows will drop into the middle 30s Sunday morning. Showers will move in by Sunday afternoon, with highs in the upper 50s and wind gusts above 25 mph. Rain should move out by early Monday morning, and skies should clear just in time for the eclipse Monday afternoon. Farther south toward Indianapolis, some higher-level clouds are possible, but the eclipse still should be at least partially visible. We'll monitor this trend closely tonight and tomorrow. More clouds will move back into Michiana Tuesday, but it still looks like we'll stay dry for Opening Day at Four Winds Field. The temperature at first pitch will likely be in the middle 60s. Showers will return on Wednesday and Thursday as temperatures fall closer to 60 degrees for the middle of the work week.
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low 34.
Tomorrow: Afternoon and evening showers and breezy. High 57.
Monday (Eclipse Day): Becoming mostly sunny and warmer. High 72.
Tuesday: Mostly cloudy and warm. High 68.
