SOUTH BEND, Ind.— Emergency relief is coming in the form of the Red Cross to a local family who lost everything in a house fire overnight.
Red Cross officials are making sure the family feels secure for awhile.
“We're making sure that they have all their immediate needed met. They have a place to stay, they have clothes to get them through the first couple days, and we’ll work with our community partners on them, with them. Too make sure their long term needs are me,” said Red Cross board member Craig Weyers.
The tenants of the house lost everything and suffered some injuries as well.
